Day 01: Arrival in Guwahati drive to Shillong (approx. 120 kms/3-4 hrs drive)

Arrive Guwahati by Flight or Train, meet and greet at Airport or Railways station, after warm welcome you will be driven to Shillong. En-route guest can enjoy speed boating at Bora Pani, Umiam Lake (5 minutes’ boats are available) last entry till 4pm. Afternoon upon arrival in Shillong, visit Golf Ground, Cathedral of Marry Church and Wards Lake (Closed on Tuesday) Evening at leisure for your own independent activities like shopping at Police Bazar, Overnight at hotel in Shillong.

Day 02: In Shillong

After breakfast visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak (closed on Wednesdays) last entry till 1430 hrs (guest need to take local vehicle, our vehicles are not allowed due to security reasons), later visit Mawphlang Sacred Forest (need to take local mandatory guide there). Next visit Laitlum Canyons, Evening return to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Shillong.

Day 03: Shillong – Phe Phe Falls - Krangshuri – Shnongpdeng.

Morning after breakfast checkout from your hotel drive to Jowai and proceed for Phe Phe Falls, located in Shkentalang village. Visit Krang Suri falls (carry clothes and towel to enjoy bathing in the fall) to reach to the falls, it’s a long trekking of 20 minutes. (Falls are dry in winters) After excursion of the falls, need to return back to car again by same trekking and drive to Shnongpdeng. Upon arrival check-in to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Shnongpdeng.

Day 04: Shnongpdeng – Amkoi – Cherrapunjee.

After breakfast drive down to Amkoi. Amkoi is a remote village in Meghalaya's Jaintia Hills. Since Amkoi is a lesser-known destination, hiring a local guide is recommended to make your journey smoother and safer. The journey involves a boat ride from Shnongpdeng and a hike to the rocky paths, enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and cliff jumping under supervision of your guide (you need to pay directly for guide) . Explore the area and expreriences later return to your vehicle by same trek and boat ride. Later drive to visit Mwallynong Village Mawlynnong The Cleanest Village in Asia, in eastern India’s Mawlynnong village, tidying up is a ritual that everyone – from tiny toddlers to toothless grannies – takes very seriously. This small, 600-odd person town in the Meghalaya region is renowned as the cleanest village in India. And for India, that’s really saying something. Discarded bottles and crumpled food wrappers mixed with cow dung – and worse – are simply part of the topography in most of the country. Mawlynnong is already way ahead of the curve, though. It was declared the cleanest village in Asia in 2003 and the cleanest in India in 2005 by Discover India magazine. This claim to fame stuck, and the village has become a regional legend and source of pride. Walk in, and all the typical rubbish is mysteriously, miraculously absent. Living Root Bridge: Living Root Bridge is a Tree Bridge, while visiting Meghalaya one must visit this beautiful place. Please wear good shoes which have a good grip as you will to go on stairs which is not smooth, avoid high heels and fancy shoes, sandals. Evening drive to Cherrapunjee, Upon arrival check-in to hotel

Day 05: In Cherrapunjee.

Breakfast at hotel visit Kynrem Waterfalls, Seven Sister Waterfalls, Mawsmai Caves, Nohkalikai Waterfalls, Arway Caves, Garden of Caves (Falls are active during rainy season). Evening return to Cherrapunjee. Overnight at hotel in Cherrapunjee.

Day 06: In Cherrapunjee (Double Decker Root Bridge)

Morning proceeds for trekking experience will take you to the majestic double-decker living root bridge of Cherrapunjee and Rainbow Fall. (Please note, there are over 3000 stairs which guest needs to go to reach Double Decker Bridge and return, it’s a whole day activity) It’s not advisable to infant, young children and Senior Citizens, carry comfortable shoes, avoid High Heels and fancy shoes. (Closed on Sundays) We suggest you take local guide who will guide you to properly double decker root bridge Overnight at hotel in Cherrapunjee.

Day 07: Cherrapunjee to Guwahati Airport Transfer (170 kms/5 hrs drive)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Guwahati Airport/ Railway station to board your flight/train for your onwards journey, with loads of energy as you chose a trip where you could breathe healthy.
